The Free Rides for Seniors
The St. Margaret Foundation "Free Rides for Seniors" shuttle transports any senior who lives within its driving area from Blawnox to Sharpsburg and from Route 28 to the Allegheny River. The Free Rides for Seniors transportation van transports senior citizens more than 6,500 times annually to the grocery store, pharmacy, UPMC St. Margaret hospital and doctor's offices, to visit friends, funeral homes, discount stores, and other necessary locations within its boundaries. This shuttle service is provided free to seniors with no questions asked. To request a ride, call 412-449-0151.

Free Medical Shuttle for the Alle-Kiski Valley
Residents may now receive free, non-emergency medical transportation service to/from St. Margaret's Hospital, UPMC primary care doctors offices and other UPMC diagnostic centers in Arnold, Brackenridge, Creighton, Lower Burrell, Natrona, Natrona Heights, New Kensington (includes Parnassus), Russellton, and Tarentum. Care Management Transportation
St. Margaret Foundation sponsors a wheel chair accessible van service that St. Margaret Hospital utilizes for transportation. The wheelchair van is stationed at the hospital from 11 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday to assist with transportation to a nursing facility or home. Arrangements are made through Care Management. Complimentary Valet Services for Patients with Disabilities
St. Margaret Foundation sponsors complimentary valet service to handicapped patients to improve accessibility to the hospital and Medical Arts Buildings for medical treatment, care, and other hospital services. This service is available at Entrance C to St. Margaret Hospital. The valet services can assist with wheelchairs and walkers, and can coordinate assistance in getting patients to their appointment destination.
